Mindzone

Measuring the impact of well-being programs for children

From 2015 until its recent closure, Mindzone conducted programs in mental strength training that reached more than 7,000 children and young people between the ages of 10 and 19. Mindzone also developed a 12-week online program designed to increase well-being, reduce stress and anxiety, strengthen community, and empower students most at risk of dropping out of the education system.

In the period 2023-2025, Als Research conducted a combined impact and effect evaluation of Mindzone’s online program, which was tested in a number of primary schools and special classes with support from the Ebbefos Foundation and the Liljeborg Foundation. The impact evaluation utilized Socialwise in a model that included validated measures of well-being, life satisfaction and self-esteem, and included the use of a control group.
